Nathan's sharp ears caught the whispered prayer spoken by his brother. He paused by the door, transfixed and fascinated by the young boy's words as the prayer continued. Spoken in the language of the spirits, Nathan is in awe of brother's plea. Such faith and hope in someone who has been through so much, and it takes his breath away.
Someday, I hope I can be like my little brother, the werewolf thinks to himself as Isaac slips under the covers and is tucked in by moonlight. He curls up in front of the door for yet another night. I don't know if Luna with protect us or not, Little Brother, but no one will cross this threshold without facing the wrath of the Full Moon.
